This is my very first menswear post! I hope you all like it!
My favorite casual look on a man is a basic look that still looks styled. A basic white t-shirt and cuffed dark wash jeans can look like a million bucks if worn with sleek, blue/grey accessories. The monotone palette creates minimalist, luxurious look while the casual items keep the look sporty.
Barcelona Street Style
My classmate in my fashion styling course in Barcelona, Mariadaniela, has amazing style. Every day I fall more in love with her outfits. I just had to post this one!
This is a casual yet classy outfit, with nude ballet flats, beige silky drawstring pants, a green top, metallic handbag, and a gold and stone necklace to bring together the whole look. This outfit would be a great wear-to-work choice, as it is comfortable yet stylish enough for a professional setting.
Barcelona Fashion Week
Today I had the honor of sitting front-row at the 080 Barcelona showing of Zazo & Brull’s new collection, “The Successor”. This Catalan design duo makes avant-garde womenswear with plenty of sheer fabrics, prints, and custom gold jewelry.
I will be attending two more fashion shows this week, so stay tuned!
It is a very exciting week to be in Barcelona for all you fashion lovers! There are many new things coming to Love Me In White. I will be spending one month here in Barcelona, and posting inspiring new looks, photos from Barcelona Fashion Week, and a brand new addition to the blog: streetstyle photos!
Let’s Talk Spring Fashion
Denim, prints, and coral pouts are all the rage for Spring 2013. Here I’ve paired an medium-wash denim vest with a black jumpsuit for an effortless everyday look, and accessorized with hip printed heeled sandals and lots of jewelry with some colors that pop.Pair this with a high ponytail and you’re ready to conquer!
Arm Candy Wanties: Summer 2013
Winter is almost over, and I just cannot wait for the warmer weather. The colors I’ll be sporting this summer are my favorite shades: coral and turquoise. Reminiscent of the beach at sunset, these colors are sure to brighten up any outfit.
The key to beautiful arm candy is wearing a mix of textures. Here I’ve chosen beads, leather, and gold for a boho look thats mixed with glamour.
Black & Gold Outfit
Looking for a simple and classy way to wear your statement sequin dress or tunic? Try pairing it with black opaque tights, black suede stiletto ankle boots, a yummy black leather clutch, and simple but sparkly jewelry. The key is to not wear too much jewelry since you’re already covered in sequins. Opt for a cuff with a few diamante details and choose studs instead of drop earrings to keep it simple. Whether you’re heading out for a Fashion Week show or drinks with your friends, you will look like a million bucks!
Real vs. Steal: Natural Straw Panama Hat
There’s a foot of snow outside here in New York City, and I can’t help but fully immerse myself in the thought of this upcoming spring and summer. Some of you may have noticed that I have a new obsession with hats, and I’m planning on further expanding my collection! I love the masculine style of the Panama hat and I just have to have one for the upcoming seasons. Here are two great versions in a natural, neutral color. I prefer the one from Kohl’s not only because its only $20, but I also love the leather buckle detailing.
A great way to show off a statement necklace is to choose muted colors as your canvas. For this outfit I simply paired a black top with black leather DvF shorts and topped it off with a crisp white blazer. With a black and white base, it was effortless to add a colored handbag like Rebecca Minkoff’s Mini M.A.C. in lavender, a statement necklace, and some embellished heels. Try this chic and elegant look for your next night out!

Feeling Floral for Spring
It looks like well-formatted floral patterns will remain popular for spring 2013, judging by their presence in various designer spring collections. Here is a killer dress from Armani Exchange Paris that inspired me to style it with a gorgeous Lanvin quilted silver handbag with gold hardware, allowing for a gold necklace with blue gemstones and Gianvito Rossi suede pointed-toe heels to complete the classy yet trendy look.
With warmer weather comes warmer attitudes. Its not even the end of January and I’m already anxious for warmer spring weather when brighter colors and floral patterns begin to creep back into everyone’s wardrobes. Restez au chaud mon amour!
Beach Vacation Wanties
I’m newly obsessed with the fringe bikini styles, especially those from L*Space. Here are two examples of a number of styles I’m crazy about; the only reason I haven’t bought one yet is because I can’t decide which one to get!
I love the bright green shade because its so fun and flirty and the triangle style is comfortable. But you can get such a yummy tan in a bandeau, and the ombre is beautiful in sunset shades. Which do you like best?
Southwestern Style with a Tribal Twist
I just bought a pair of Topshop silk shorts in a marbled color called Desert Camo, which inspired me on how I would ideally style them into a Southwestern-style outfit. I paired the shorts with a draped top from Haute Hippie, a Moyna beaded clutch, tribal-style jewelry that features wood, stone, and gold daggers. I’m obsessed with this K. Amato necklace. And how adorable are these Bottega Veneta suede fringe heels? They’re the perfect finish for bringing the entire style together.
For A Beautiful Tan Year-Round
Hello readers! I’ve escaped the New York cold and am spending the last few weeks of my vacation in Miami’s South Beach. Which brings me to today’s beauty product review. Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is my new go-to bronzer. It looks completely natural as it matte and the product does not cake on the skin. It is a perfect year-round bronzer because of its lighter color, perfectly suitable for fair skin tones, giving you a nice healthy glow. I highly recommend this bronzer!
Jewel Tones and Leather
Here’s an easy outfit to try: start with a black base; black tank top, black booties, and a pair of black leather pants. Add a statement jacket like a cobalt suede and come colorful jewelry and handbag. This is a great way to wear your statement pieces and the black base makes for a great canvas for mixing jewel tones like blues and purples.
